Lesson learned from my trip to China

Last week I have just taken a trip to China. It was my second visit, I first went there in 2013, but there were several things I noticed from this visit. -Business and marketing idea Chinese people are considered the smartest people in Asia when it comes to doing business. Since I traveled with the travel agency, everything was all arranged from accommodation to places of visit. Chinese tourism sites as well as manufacturing industries sponsored the agency, so the agency could reduce the expense for the trip. However, in return, the agency had to bring the tourists to visit and buy stuff or souvenirs from them, meaning they always have customers to buy their products or use their services. -Technology Majority of Chinese people does not have problems in using technology, since everything is in Chinese language, unlike us that we need to know some basic English to understand how to use technology. Chinese people can just use their smart phones to pay for anything anywhere no matter if they buy clothes in the big shopping mall or just a bottle of water from the street vendors. -Traffic management What surprised me most was that I did not see any motorbike on the streets. In fact, all motorbikes are banned in the city areas. On the asphalt roads, there were only cars, trucks, and buses while bicyclists on their dedicated bike lanes, and pedestrians walking on the sidewalk. Some modern cities like Shenzhen also have the state of the art metro systems to avoid traffic which is every crowded. Most streets are very wide, some have six lanes, some consist up to ten, and usually separate fast lanes from service lanes. -Security management Surveillance cameras are everywhere inside the building and outdoor. Also, small police stations or police pods can be found just one or two blocks away from one another, meaning you can see police stations everywhere with the presence of policemen and police vehicles.

-Toward the future
China is now developing its cities to become the livable and sustainable cities. Many new cities like Shenzhen are preparing to become city of the future by improving its infrastructure, economic, technology, urban mobility, and greenery.
