Phnom Penh Bus Line

As of mid 2017, there are 57 city buses running on three lines through Phnom Penh everyday. The first city bus service was introduced in 2002, yet back then public transportation was not a favor of Phnom Penh-ers; therefore, the service completely failed. It took around a decade for the City Hall to reestablished the public transport with the help of JICA. The first testing line running through Preah Monivong Blvd. from Chbar Ampov market to Chroy Changvar bridge and vice versa. Later, the City Hall came up with the real project with three bus lines.
Line 1 (Green Line): from Kdei Ta Koy (Chbar Ampov) to Kilometer 9 (Reussey Keo) via National Road 1, Preah Monivong Blvd., National Road 5. Intersect with Line 2 at Bokor until Kbal Thnol, and Line 3 at Central Market.
Line 2 (Red Line): from Night Market (Daun Penh) to Takhmao (Kandal) via Preah Sisowath Quay, Street 70, Samdech Pen Nouth Blvd., Kil Il Sung Blvd,. Mao Tse Dung Blvd., Preah Monivong Blvd,. National Road 2, National Road 1. Intersect with Line 1 at Bokr until Kbal Thnol, Line 3 at Santhormuk School and Night Market.
Line 3 (Blue Line): from Night Market (Daun Penh) to Chom Chao (Poh Sen Chey) via Sisowath Quay, Preah Norodom Blvd., Kampuchea Krom Blvd., Russian Blvd. Intersect with Line 1 at Central Market, and Line 2 at Santhormok School and Night Market.
